- Lenders from rolling over, refinancing, repaying, renewing or merging consumer credit with the use of proceeds from other credit approved by the same lender to the military personnel.
- Requiring military personnel to relinquish their rights under federal laws or Service Member’s Civil Relief Act or SCRA
- Denying the chance of military personnel to pay the loan early or giving penalties to military personnel who pay loans early
- Any other unreasonable clause in the agreement that would make it difficult for military personnel to take a creditor to court.
- States from permitting creditors to abuse state consumer loan protection laws made for military personnel who are non residents.
